It looks like Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary will last through April. The NBC sketch show — currently celebrating its four-decade milestone — is the subject of the documentary Live From New York!, which will open the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival on April 15, The doc explores the early years and evolution of Lorne Michaels’ comedy institution, complete with archival footage and commentary from past and present castmembers, journalists, hosts and crewmembers, among others.
