For some fans, the Doors’ story ends with 1971’s L.A. Woman, the band’s last album with iconic frontman-lyricist Jim Morrison, who died that same year. But the remaining trio – keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore – carried on to record 1971’s Other Voices and the following year’s Full Circle, two under-appreciated (and long out-of-print) LPs now prepped for a new reissue campaign. Rhino Records will release the albums on individual vinyl and as a two-disc CD set on September 4th.
