Minions’ three-week yellow spell at the top of the U.K. box office finally came to an end over the weekend, with Ant-Man opening in the number one slot.
In a relatively low-earning three-day period for British cinemas, Disney’s latest Marvel outing took home $6.2 million, debuting higher than Captain America: The First Avenger and The Incredible Hulk.
Its total weekend gross of $1.7 million saw it top the previous records set by Take That Live and One Direction: Where We Are.
