After a three-week stint, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith and the other aging residents of The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel have finally checked out of the U.K. box office’s presidential suite. The all-star British comedy, whose U.K. earnings are now just shy of $20 million, was knocked into third place by the far-sprightlier newcomers Home and Insurgent, with DreamWorks Animation’s Home winning by a large margin. Home — which hits theaters in the U.S. on Friday, March 27th — took an impressive $9.1 million in its opening weekend, the biggest debut for an animated film since The Lego Movie bowed to $12 million in February 2014, and the biggest launch for a DWA title outside of the Shrek franchise.
