Arnold Schwarzenegger did indeed make good on his repeated promises to come back, but his return wasn’t triumphant enough to wrestle the top spot of the U.K. box office from the yellow clutches of Universal’s pill-shaped oddities.
Terminator: Genisys scored an opening weekend bow of $5.9 million, well short of Minions’ $9.6 million, which pushed its U.K. two-week total to a powerful $32.4 million.
