While Ted 2 might not have landed with as much vigor as the first cuddly outing from Seth MacFarlane in the U.K., its $6 million bringing in less than half the original’s opening bow of $14.5 million, any disappointment for Universal is likely to have been dampened by its total domination at the top of the British box office.
