A Taylor Swift audio clip called Track 3 was accidentally made available to Canadian iTunes users, some of whom purchased it for $1.29–though most likely got it because they have her album pre-ordered–only to receive eight seconds of white noise in return. The Track 3 incident incited quite the comedic Twitter buzz: “Paige” tweeted, “Taylor swift could literally release a song of her farting and it would go to number one.” Another user, Lenay Dunn, tweeted “Rocking out to Taylor Swift’s ‘Track 3’ – eight seconds of static – on repeat while I do my hair.” The funniest of them all? “We heard that Taylor Swift’s Track 3 is a song about every guy’s first time. It’s eight seconds long, totally silent, and released accidentally.”
