New Line’s comedy, Vacation, will be getting a head start on box office figures for it’s release week.
Ahead of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’s Friday release, the not-so-National-Lampoons film hits the cinematic road Wednesday.
The film follows the fabled Rusty Griswold and his own family on a comedic vacation through Americana.
Since John Hughes and Harold Ramis have both passed away, they wrote and directed the 1983 film respectively, the not-so-sequel will serve as an homage to the original.
It even includes the patriarch and matriarch of the Griswold clan as Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo make cameos.
