First order of business: What’s up for Damon and Elena? Now that he’s in some godforsaken otherworldly world for an unknown period of time, will Elena be nursing a horribly shattered heart all season, or will she move on? The answer may surprise you because…. Elena is getting a new love interest! But it’s a little more complicated than that. Plec revealed new info on what Damon and Elena fans can expect, and well, it’s not as bad as you think. Julie still refers to Damon as “the love of her life,” and the jury’s still out on whether Elena can possibly have eyes for anyone else in the world.
