The American Sniper movie trailer is here and it’s powerful to say the least. In the Clint Eastwood-directed flick, Bradley Cooper plays Chris Kyle, a real-life Navy SEAL who had the record for the highest number of sniper kills for any American.
The trailer begins with the 39-year-old actor dressed in full Navy SEAL fatigues lying perched atop a building with his sniper rifle aimed and ready to shoot. The scene seems to be set in a war-torn area of a Middle Eastern country. The city is filled with American soldiers and tanks.
Cooper first spots a middle-aged man, then he spies a woman with a young boy exiting a building. He surveys the scene and realizes the woman has a grenade, which she hands to the child.
