American Idol alum Paula Abdul and singer/dancer Jason Derulo joined veteran Nigel Lythgoe at the judges table tonight for the season 12 premiere of Fox’s dancing competition series, So You Think Can Dance. The change ushers in a whole new era for the show. As if all the new faces weren’t enough of a change, season 12 also introduced a new twist in the competition: stage dancers vs. street dancers.
