During the Comic-Con International convention in San Diego, the BBC released a new trailer for Doctor Who Series 9.
Series 9 kicks off later in 2015, and sees the return of Peter Capaldi as The Doctor and Jenna Coleman as his companion, Clara. The new series kicks off with the Doctor and Clara continuing their adventure through space and time with a renewed vigor. Capaldi says on the BBC website, “The Doctor’s in pursuit of joy and grabbing every thrill that he can along the way. But I sense him running from something that even he does not yet understand…” Doctor Who Series 9 will air on BBC America on Sept. 19th.
