Mad Men’s final seven-episode run kicks off on Sunday, April 5, and its leading man Jon Hamm is so ready to move on. Hamm told a room full of reporters at AMC’s presentation during the 2015 Winter TCA Press Tour on Saturday, “Yeah, I’m thrilled that it’s ending. I am so looking forward to being unemployed, so happy not to see any of these people ever again and all of that is really great. Hashtag sarcasm.” In case his recommended hashtag didn’t register with you, Hamm was clearly joking, and went on to say just how “painful” saying goodbye to Don Draper, the series, and his co-stars will be for him.
