When you hear what the CW’s newest show iZombie is about, it’s pretty difficult to find any resemblance whatsoever to the cult favorite show Veronica Mars. Viewers will notice right away during iZombie’s premiere that the tone, the attitude and the pacing is just like the Kristen Bell hit series. That same witty delivery, sarcastic voice-over and quick back-and-forth banter will leave Veronica Mars fans feeling nostalgic while also cementing iZombie as one of your new favorite shows. Rose McIver, the titular zombie herself, jokes that iZombie is Veronica Mars plus brains.
