Last month, Latino Review claimed that Chris Pine was actually up for the Hal Jordan/Green Lantern in the DC Cinematic Universe. There were also reports that had him up for Wonder Woman’s love interest Steve Trevor. Now, a new report backs up LR’s claims. The website birthmoviesdeath claims they spoke to a source close to Pine, who verified that the Star Trek actor has been offered Steve Trevor and Hal Jordan, but hasn’t made a decision on either yet. The website added, “My source tells me that Pine is definitely leaning towards Green Lantern.” Hopefully he makes a decision very soon as Warner Bros. is reportedly planning to unveil their full-Justice League lineup this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con. Green Lantern arrives in theaters June 19, 2020.
