Will Smith has most definitely put the brakes on this plan for his younger kids.
When the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum’s oldest son, Trey Smith, turned 16 and had to learn how to drive, Will thought it would be a great idea to have Alfonso Ribeiro AKA Carlton Banks teach him all of the tips and tricks of getting behind the wheel because he was into racing.
So into it, in fact, he had competed in several races himself!
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his upcoming film, Focus, Smith explained the basis of his idea, which lay in the thought that the racing school, and Ribeiro, taught drivers how to “catch the car if it drifts” and “drive like a real driver.”
