An old face is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in next year’s Captain America: Civil War–General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who hasn’t appeared in a Marvel Studios film since 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. The man behind the mustache, actor William Hurt, recently chatted about his return to the Marvel Universe, explaining how his second turn as the military man is far different from the first one. When also asked about The Red Hulk—Ross’ gamma-powered alter ego in the comics since 2008—Hurt said he was unsure if he’d ever see red. The actor admitted, “I don’t know. I wouldn’t mind feeling like I had that much power.” Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 5, 2016.
