Bryan Singer has released another odd photo from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse.
The director released an image of first assistant direct Josh McLagen handling an owl-shaped puppet. The owl is apparently “mutant guided,” which even singer admits is “odd.” Most likely explanation is that Professor X or Jean Grey use their telepathy to control the owl. If it were a mutant owl, rather than a mutant guided owl, I might guess a surprise appearance by Snowbird, but she’s a shapeshifter. That’s different.
We’ll find out the whole story when X-Men: Apocalypse is relased on May 27, 2016.
