FXX’s You’re the Worst is ready to bring down another happy couple. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the Stephen Falk comedy has tapped Justin Kirk and Tara Summers to guest star in a season two episode. The Weeds and Ringer alums will play Rob and Lexi, a couple whom Gretchen, played by main character Aya Cash, meets at the local coffee shop. They’ll appear in an episode called “LCD Soundsystem” on the comedy that returns in September. Rob is further described as a film preservationist and certified “cool dad,” who has convinced himself that he’s happy with his newfound domesticity, but secretly longs for his old life of swing-dancing at The Derby and indie comedy night at Largo. But a chance encounter with Gretchen might give him the out he’s been looking for.
