Well, it was only a matter of time before we heard Zayn Malik’s voice sans his former One Direction mates.
The 22-year old can be heard alongside U.K. rapper Mic Righteous on a new track that popped up today of a cover of Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type,” a leak that immediately stirred up some controversy on social media between Mic Righteous and producer Naughty Boy.
Naughty Boy seemed to be taking a jab at the leaked song, tweeting, “just wait for the real one you won’t be disappointed.”
But the producer insisted, “that had nothing to do with me or Zayn, something was stolen from the hard drive that had nothing to do with the rapper involved.”
To which Mic Righteous quickly responded, “Lol @NaughtyBoyMusic tell the truth shah. We recorded them bars in ur studio months ago. .. Bout ‘stolen hard drive.'”
About an hour later, he responded again to the same Naughty Boy tweet with, “Why r u like this…’The real one’ ur just gonna take my verse off and put krept and konans back on.”
