Just over four months after Zayn Malik announced his decision to leave One Direction, the 22-year-old musician has revealed a shocker.
The former 1D singer is now walking his own musical path.
He tweeted a photo of himself signing a contract, announcing his decision to team up with RCA Records.
In a statement released in March, Malik sang a very different tune when it came to parting ways with former bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne.
He apologized to fans but stated he’s no different than anyone else, and sought time out of the spotlight.
Now it appears he’s ready to take to the stage once again, on his own.
