In the midst of the One Direction tour, bandmember Zayn Malik is heading home to focus on some personal issues.
The 22-year-old singer is taking a brief hiatus from the band’s latest On the Road tour, a rep for One Direction confirms to E! News. “Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate,” the rep tells us. “The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta.” The handsome boybander is expected to return for the band’s March 28 performance in Johannesburg, South Africa when the group embarks upon the next leg of their fourth headlining concert tour.
