Teen star Zendaya has condemned “Fashion Police” host Giuliana Rancic for suggesting she reeks of marijuana because she wore her hair in dreadlocks.
The “K.C. Undercover” actress wore the hairstyle as she walked the Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday and during an Oscars special episode of Fashion Police, which aired on Monday, Rancic analyzed Coleman’s look and said, “I feel like she smells of patchouli oil … maybe weed.” The actress took to Twitter to vent her frustration tweeting, “There is a fine line between funny and disrespectful. To say that an 18 year old young woman with locs must smell of patchouli oil or ‘weed’ is not only a large stereotype but outrageously offensive.”
