The New Girl’s guy is speaking out on Zooey Deschanel’s impending motherhood!
The New Girl star and She & Him singer is expecting her first child with Jacob Pechenik next summer, saying in a statement, “We’re so excited to meet our little one.”
Also excited over Deschanel’s pregnancy? Her New Girl co-star Jake Johnson!
Johnson tells E! News at the Fox All-Star party at the 2015 Winter TCA Press Tour, “I’m excited for her. We’re really excited. She and Jacob are so excited and I couldn’t be happier for Zooey.”
He continues, “She’s a good friend and this is an awesome thing in her life. I think she’s going to be a great mom.”
Bu don’t expect to see Jess become pregnant on the Fox sitcom as Johnson says New Girl will not be writing Deschanel’s pregnancy into the storyline.
