It’s official: The Comeback will return for a new season of six episodes. E! News previously reported the Lisa Kudrow comedy would begin production this May. Kudrow said in a statement, “It was almost too fun play Valerie Cherish the first time around. I look forward to revisiting this resilient and ironically self-unaware character.” HBO said in a statement release, “When The Comeback returns for a limited series, former sitcom star Valerie Cherish (played by Kudrow) “thinks she has it all figured out this time. She doesn’t.”
