Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuaron will head the jury at the 72nd Venice Film Festival this year. His film Gravity opened the 2013 Venice Film Festival and went on to win him two Oscars, for best Director and Best Film Editing, taking home seven Oscars in all. Cuaron will lead the jury that will award the Golden Lion for Best Film, the Silver Lion for Best Director, the Grand Jury Prize, Coppa Volpi for Best Actor and Best Actress, Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best New Young Actor of Actress, Award for Best Screenplay, and Special Jury Prize.
