Amy Adams has broken her silence after her guest appearance on the Today show was canceled earlier this week.
The award-winning star was due to promote her upcoming project, Tim Burton’s Big Eyes, when her segment was pulled over a disagreement over the terms of her interview.
The 40-year-old actress made it clear to the morning talk show that she did not want to discuss the ongoing Sony drama, but that didn’t sit well with execs.
During an interview with USA Today, however, Adams shared her perspective on the incident.
“I expressed that I was uncomfortable. I said I would rather not add my voice to this conversation. But it was clear they were drawing a hard line. That this would be part of the conversation,” she told the paper.
She added, “I was informed that they had decided to pull the interview. I was confused and definitely frustrated. I still don’t understand.”
