If their Christmas card will be anything like their most recent family portrait, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince George has got their holiday gift game locked down.
This week, a never-before-seen photo of the royal family surfaced online. According to reports, the commissioned portrait, taken by photographer Jason Bell sometime around March 2014, was sent as thank you gifts to those involved in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Australia and New Zealand tour.
Contained in a black frame embossed with the royal couple’s cyphers, the family portrait shows Kate, clutching her son, beaming as William stands behind her. The husband-and-wife duo have also signed their names underneath photo.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson later confirmed the authenticity of the photo after it became viral online.
