Tony winner Dan Fogler has joined the cast of the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Alison Sudol have all been cast in the film, which centers on the adventures of writer Newt Scamander (Redmayne) in New York’s secret community of witches and wizards 70 years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.
Fogler will play Jacob, a non-magical person whom Newt befriends while on his adventure in New York.
