Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has announced she will be releasing the third installment in her mystery-thriller trilogy, which she will pen under the name Robert Galbraith. Career of Evil, which follows the investigations of private detective Cormoran Strike and assistant Robin Ellacott, is slated for a late October release. Described by publisher Little Brown as a “fiendishly clever mystery”, the book opens with Ellacott getting a package containing a woman’s severed leg and finds Strike trying to unravel who is responsible. Rowling announced the new release with a tweet calling her pen name her “good friend”.
