Queen J.K. Rowling is at it again. The Harry Potter author recently tweeted about the news that Ireland had voted in favor of marriage equality, calling it “extraordinary and wonderful.” Fans tweeted back about the historic moment, and it eventually led to a Dumbledore mention, as J.K. has confirmed that the Hogwarts headmaster was gay. That’s when the Westboro Baptist Church decided to get involved and tweeted, “So @jk_rowling wants Dumbledore & Gandalf to marry in Ireland; if it happens, WBC will picket!” J.K., being the classy woman she is, responded with one simple response that effectively shut down Westboro’s hateful campaign against the fictional characters. The author wrote, “Alas, the sheer awesomeness of such a union in such a place would blow your tiny bigoted minds out of your thick sloping skulls.”
