Joan Rivers, who died on Thursday at 81, dedicated an entire chapter of her 2012 book, I Hate Everyone… Starting With Me , to death, funerals and the remembrance reel at the Oscars. In it, Rivers expressed how she actually loved funerals, hated people who died of natural causes — and hoped that her own funeral would feature a wind machine so that her hair, in the casket, would blow like Beyonce’s.
