It was a night Katy Perry will never forget, and now she’s got the tattoo to prove it. After mesmerizing the Super Bowl crowd at the University of Phoenix stadium with her magical halftime spectacle–complete with four Jeremy Scott-designed outfit changes and dancing shark puppets–the “I Kissed A Girl” singer opted for celebratory ink to commemorate the moment. Hours after her 12-minute set, which featured guest performances from rocker Lenny Kravitz and a scene-stealing surprise appearance by rapper Missy Elliott, Perry went under the tattoo gun. Posting a photo on Instagram of the ink, Perry wrote, “I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight… XLIX.”
