Michael Jackson brought attention to many unique styles during his lifetime, but none may be more enduring than the gloves he rocked through the Thriller era and to the very end. Now, Nate D. Sanders auction house is giving you a chance to own one of one of the iconic studded gloves MJ wore.
The glove is encrusted with crystals and will start at a bid of $20,000 when it goes under the hammer on July 30. Obviously, the auction only features a singular glove as Jackson always sported them one at a time.
Jackson gifted the glove to artist Paul Bedard, who is the one offering the glove up in this auction. Bedard was a friend of Jackson’s and the artist created a number of paintings featuring iconic pop culture figures wearing the entertainer’s signature look for the walls of Neverland Ranch.
