Eddie Redmayne and Julianne Moore were both overjoyed with their wins for Best Actor and Best Actress at the Oscars, but it was Birdman director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu who stole the show. Birdman collected Best Picture and Inarritu won Best Director before producing the memorable quote “fear is the condom of life”.
