There are few people that know the history of Oscar hair better than Adir Abergel. Easily one of the most famous celebrity hairstylist on the planet, he has been getting A-listers ready for the Academy Awards for well over a decade. And on Sunday he will be working his magic yet again on Best Actress winner Reese Witherspoon. But before this year’s red carpet prepping begins E! asked the beloved mane man to pick his favorite hairstylist from past Oscars. It turns out, Marisa Tomei’s style from 2009 is Abergel’s all-time favorite. The hairdresser says, “This was an updo with cascades of soft movement that mirrored the twists and turns of the dress. I loved the texture and the softness of the bangs.”
