Top Dawg Entertainment’s singer-songwriter SZA made her Bonnaroo debut this weekend, and she couldn’t have picked a better time. On the first day she arrived, her label mate, Kendrick Lamar, performed on the main stage before performing with Chance the Rapper alongside legendary soul-funk act Earth, Wind & Fire. After wrapping her set, she connected with Complex to talk about her upcoming projects (an EP and a full-length album), the songwriter said that she’s learning the most from these days, and what it feels like when hundreds of people in rural Tennessee come out for your set.
