If you’re like anyone, visions of dancing sharks, palm trees and beach balls likely distracted you from the creepiest moment of Katy Perry’s Super Bowl halftime performance. Luckily for watchers, a hawk-eyed Reddit user spotted a smiling hooded figure standing behind Perry, just as she launches into the first verse of “Teenage Dream.” It’s unclear whether this poor guy is operating the enormous ocean prop before him, or if he’s just standing there for kicks. Either way, his presence is an unsettling sight.
