Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May will all be in attendance for an upcoming Top Gear live festival in Australia, despite Clarkson recently being fired from the actual Top Gear television series. The name is going to be changed, and the venue has been moved from a race track to an indoor arena, but all three hosts will be in attendance and entertaining the many thousands of fans that shelled out a number of dollars to see the crew perform some crazy stunts. This is something that’s been planned for months, and were it cancelled the organizers would be out significant sums of money.
It seems the tentative name change will be something akin to “Clarkson, Hammond, and May Live”, which is probably enough to make folks happy because that’s just what they want to see. There will be no “BBC” branding, and no use of the name “Top Gear” as well.
